New Zealand Fine Scoria 1.5L

The natural qualities of scoria helps to promote fine root growth as well as being able to hold large amounts of moisture in the soil. Our Fine Grade Scoria is sifted to give you just the right size for proper aeration and mixing. Highly recommended.

Our bonsai scoria is locally sourced from Taupo, New Zealand.

For deciduous trees, we recommend using a 50/50 Inorganic to Organic mix, and for conifers we recommend a 70/30 Inorganic to Organic mix.

Organic ingredient include aged pine bark, compost or potting mix.

Inorganic ingredients include Pumice, Scoria, or Akadama clay.
