Shiro Bonsai was started in early 2021 when I found myself struggling to find affordable training pots. My main goal with Shiro Bonsai is to make bonsai more affordable. There seems to be a stigma around bonsai being so expensive or hard to look after when it doesn’t have to be. The growth of your own tree is much more rewarding than purchasing a finished product. Not only does it teach you the knowledge along the way, but it drives you to learn and care for that tree.

The structure of Shiro Bonsai is created around education, from each tree being categorised within its growth stages, to each soil type sold individually so you can learn and create your own mix for what works best in your location.

Bonsai is an amazing hobby and one that has truly made my life better and it’s something I want to share with everyone!
