Aaron's Winter Care Guide

Aaron's Winter Care Guide

Perfect for June - August

My winter tidy up. I begin to clean down all my benches of leaves and any debris sitting on the soil of the tree.

This is when fertilising stops on all my trees, though usually a bag remains for the first few weeks of winter, as my fertilising schedule overlaps a few weeks. Once removed, I won’t put on fresh bags until the last week of winter.

As winter comes to an end, I begin to repot all my deciduous trees, followed by junipers and all other trees. With the number of trees I have, this will roll into early spring, so it’s recommended for a smaller collection to begin when the last frost of winter is over.
