Aaron's Autumn Care Guide

Aaron's Autumn Care Guide

Perfect for March - May

Autumn is feeding time & one of the most important seasons at that. Our aim is to setup our bonsai with energy for a big push in spring. Healthy trees also are less susceptible to pests and disease over winter.

My feed is a Yates dynamic lifter, in early autumn and will be my last until late winter. Then I will continue my seaweed based liquid fertiliser throughout winter just to help the roots stay healthy before coming into repotting season.

Late Autumn I will also start to spray some of my trees with a diluted lime sulphur mix to control over wintering insects such as mites, scale & aphid eggs.
